Learn To Skate / Learn to Play
Our Learn to Skate Program is for children from ages 3 and up and is designed for those new to skating looking to learn the fundamentals such as skating forwards, backwards, stopping and most importantly getting back up!
After a few weeks, our on ice instructors will identify those ready to make the jump to Learn to Play and that group will begin their hockey instruction down the other end of the ice.
Stephanie O'Sullivan and the staff from O'Sullivan Hockey provide the on ice instruction on behalf of Dorchester Youth Hockey.

Child(ren) must be three (3) years old by the start of the program.

When
LTS/LTP usually begins on the 2nd Saturday in November and ends on the 1st Saturday in March.
Session 1 = 3pm
Session 2 = 4pm
Cost
The cost for participating in the LTS/LTP Program is $250 per child.
Equipment
All participants are required to wear hockey helmets with a full facemask. Bicycle helmets are not permitted.
Please place a piece of tape with your child’s first name on the front of his/her helmet.
2024-2025
Registration will open in mid-September for the 2024-2025 LTS Season.
