Mite Development

The Goal of our Mite Development Program is to provide kids the opportunity to learn the game of hockey by introducing the basic skills of the game in a fun and positive manner that maintains an inclusive and supportive environment for all players. Mite Dev is geared towards 5 & 6 year olds who have completed a Learn To Skate program and are ready to make the jump into hockey.

Ages

Recommended for 5 & 6 year olds who have completed LTS.

When

Season starts in early September when Devine Rink opens and runs through mid March

Where

All practices are held at Devine Rink in Dorchester.

We participate in a U6 League in which games are Saturday mornings in Hyde Park.

Jerseys

DYH will provide jerseys for our Mite Development Players.

Equipment

All participants must wear full hockey equipment.
